Dill Weed

The dried leaves of the Anethum Graveolens (family Umbelliferae) they are bright green and impart a pleasing flavour to mild or bland foods. Dill Weed is subtle and fresh in flavour; it is characterized by sweet, green/grassy, tea like and rye notes.
Use to season cheese, shrimp, cream soup, gazpacho, lamb, butter for fish, chicken, green beans and carrots. It is superb in creamed peas or fish sauces, sour cream and oil and vinegar dressing.
