Cedar Flavoured Fried Rice

Ingredients Quantities
Basmati rice 250 mL
Water 500 mL
Salmon Seasoning 700 g 15 mL
Vegetable oil 45 mL
Broccoli florets 250 mL
Carrot ovals 125 mL
Julienned yellow onion 125 mL
Julienned red pepper 125 mL
Egg 125 mL
Chopped baby bok choy 125 mL
Low sodium soy sauce 45 mL
Worcestershire sauce 10 mL
Saki 30 mL
Fish sauce 1 mL
Salmon Seasoning 700 g 6 mL

Instructions

Combine the rice water and first quantity of salmon seasoning. Bring to a simmer cover and reduce heat. Let rice simmer for 18-22 minutes or until rice has absorbed all liquid. Spread rice on a large pan to cool. Heat a large wok or griddle over high heat. Add oil and cook onions for 5 minutes or until translucent. Add the rest of the vegetables except for the bok choy. Cook for 4-5 minutes turning or tossing often. Add the rice and toss for 4 minutes. Add the egg and bok choy and heat for 1 minute more. Pour in all the liquid ingredients and cook for 2 minutes. Add the remaining salmon seasoning toss to serve.
