This fiery take on the Philly Cheesesteak is loaded with chicken, onions and peppers, and an irresistible hot and smoky sauce starring Frank's RedHot® Nashville Hot Seasoning, and sharp Cheddar and Gouda cheeses.
In a saucepot, combine all ingredients for cheese sauce. Cook over medium heat, whisking constantly, until cheese is completely melted. Hold hot for service.
Toss chicken with Nashville Hot Seasoning and set aside.
In a sauté pan, heat oil over medium high heat. Add onions and cook until slightly caramelized. Add bell peppers, seasoned chicken and Frank's RedHot® Original Cayenne Pepper Sauce. Cook until an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C) is reached. Hold hot for service.
Service
For each sandwich, split roll in half and fill with 1 (250 ml) to 1 1/2 cups (375 ml) of chicken mixture. Top with 1/2 cup (125 ml) of cheese sauce. Serve immediately.
