Bay Leaves also called Laurel Leaves are the dried leaves of the evergreen tree, Laurus nobilis. Bay Leaves have a distinctively strong, aromatic, spicy flavour and a pleasant, slightly minty menthol aroma. The elliptically shaped leaves are light green in colour and brittle when dried.
