Soak cedar in water for 12 hours. Plank should be completely immersed in water.
In a pot, heat the honey, all of the seasoning and the ginger. Chill; use to marinade salmon for 4 hours under refrigeration.
Oil cedar plank, place salmon on the board. Place board on the grill and cover with a lid for 12 to 15 minutes. Glaze salmon occasionally with marinade. Grill until fish flakes easily with a fork.
