BBQ Honey Butter | Club House for Chefs

Cattlemen's Mississippi Honey BBQ blends so perfectly with butter and is sweet enough for any pork, chicken or seafood item. You may even try it on hush puppies, cornbread or flap jacks.

Ingredients

BBQ Honey Butter | Serves 2 cups
1 cup Butter, softened
1 cup Cattlemens ® Mississippi Honey® BBQ Sauce
For a Sweet BBQ Honey Mop | Serves 2 cups
1 1/2 cups Cattlemens ® Mississippi Honey® BBQ Sauce
1/2 cup Apple juice
1/4 cup Apple cider vinegar
1/2 cup BBQ Honey Butter, warm (above)

Procedure

In the bowl of a stand mixer with the paddle attachment, beat together softened butter and Mississippi Honey BBQ Sauce. Mix until BBQ Sauce is fully incorporated into the butter. Hold refrigerated, but allow butter to reach room temperature for service.
For mop: Whisk in listed ingredients until well combined. Hold refrigerated, warm for service.

CHEF's TIP!

Chef's Tip: For a mopping sauce consider 50% stock of the appropriate protein being mopped.
